From 121 students...

The establishment staff in January 1997 consisted of nine enthusiastic, energetic people who were very excited about the challenges ahead!

On the very first day the roll was called on the field away from the unfinished construction and all the pupils and staff were bused to Willow Park. Building delays had meant that the site was not ready when the school year started.

Shifting furniture became second nature as we first moved into the new classrooms and then around the new rooms as the school grew. You needed muscles to move desks, chairs and tables across wooden planks and over craters and mounds of earth.

...to over 800 in the first five years.
