Message from the Principal

Congratulations to all families who entered into the spirit of Whacky Hair and Hat Day, the ice block sale and the Easter Egg hunt. We had a great day for the last day of the term blessed by awesome weather. Our two Principals for the Day, Danny Zhang and Ibrahim Dawood, worked their socks off but seemed to gain in confidence as the day progressed. They are now both experts at presenting certificates.

On behalf of the school I offer thanks to all Point View families for your support and cooperation over the term. I know you will join me in thanking our amazing teachers for the time and energy they invested maintaining teaching and learning in challenging circumstances. I am so grateful for this and admire greatly the patience and dedication shown by the Point View teaching team throughout this demanding year.

May you all take a very well-earned rest.

Message from Mr Kirkham and the Environmental Education Team.

In Friday’s assembly we showed this i-movie, Lettuce for Peter, to lay down a challenge. We would love ‘the hive’ to become a real community garden, a green treasure for our whole local community to enjoy throughout each season. Back in summer we had built up a few ready to go planting beds in the hive thanks to a group of busy eco-warrior children and a green fingered parent. Unfortunately lockdown came along and all the lovely planters were taken over by nasty weeds.

If any families want to take up the Peter Rabbit veggie challenge during the holidays just email Mr Rankin at and he will explain how you can enjoy using the hive resources to grow a yummy salad fit for a very picky and greedy rabbit.
