EOTC

At Point View School, Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) is an important part of our learning programme. EOTC provides learners with valuable opportunities to extend their learning beyond the classroom through experiences such as trips, camps, sports events, cultural visits, and environmental learning activities. These experiences help bring learning to life and support the development of confidence, teamwork, and curiosity.

Planning and Safety

The health and safety of our learners is always our priority. All EOTC activities are carefully planned and follow national guidelines, including risk assessments, supervision planning, and clear safety procedures to ensure students can participate safely.

At Point View School, we believe that learning extends far beyond the four walls of the classroom. Each year, our Year 6 learners embark on a 3 night residential camp, an experience that stands as the absolute highlight for many of our learners during their primary school years.

As our seniors prepare for their transition to Intermediate, the Year 6 camp provides the perfect platform to boost their confidence and celebrate their journey at Point View School. It is more than just a trip; it is a transformative experience where our learners grow taller, get stronger, and return home with a new sense of what they can achieve.

Parent Volunteers

We greatly value the support of parent volunteers, who help make many of these opportunities possible. Parents who are selected to assist will be contacted in advance. Due to supervision ratios, safety requirements, and planning processes, we are unfortunately unable to include additional parents who arrive on the day of the trip. We appreciate your understanding, as these procedures help ensure the safety and organisation of the experience for all learners. All parent volunteers are asked to complete this form:
